COSMO-SEAM-002 · The Hubble Tension — one symbol demanded from two ledgers
LIVE CANDIDATE · 7.1σ DISCREPANCY READ AS MISSING INFORMATION, NOT CRISIS
| context |
WHAT THIS CERTIFICATE RECORDS, IN PLAIN TERMS. The field’s sharpest standing discrepancy: the early route (CMB sound horizon) returns H₀ = 67.27 ± 0.60; the late route (distance ladder, H0DN 2026) returns 73.50 ± 0.81 — 7.1σ apart, persisting regardless of instrument. The classical framing demands ONE symbol H₀ from two different measurement LEDGERS and calls the mismatch a crisis. The MN reading applies the divergence rule: a persistent discrepancy between two projections of one universe is not disproof — it is the discarded channel announcing itself. The discarded channel is the ROUTE ADDRESS: the early route reads geometry (acoustic phase at recombination, propagation register), the late route reads the photon’s paid path (energy register — the register where the corpus’s friction toll z = a·d/c² accrues). Identifying the two numbers was the projection error. Method: Derrick E. Muncy. |

H0DN Collaboration 2026 (73.50 ± 0.81, 1% local); Planck 2018 (67.27 ± 0.60); The Hubble Tension: A Decade Review, arXiv 2606.20434 (2026) — 7.1σ vs CMB, 5.0σ vs BBN+BAO; corpus: the dial H₀ = (2c_part/Θ)·2tan(π/3) = 68.05, the friction law, Expansion as Flow |

S2 — The Address (a route address absorbed into a shared symbol) |
| governing_equation_as_projected (the seam) |
H₀(early) = H₀(late) — demanded as an identity the projection: two complete measurement objects — (sound horizon r_s, acoustic phase, recombination physics) and (ladder rungs, SN magnitudes, the photon’s cumulative path) — are each collapsed to one scalar and the scalars are IDENTIFIED. The route address is discarded at the identification. 7.1σ says the identification fails; the classical response is to torture one route’s systematics. |
| complete_governing_equation (the repair) |
H₀^{(A)} — the rate carried at route address A, ledger kept:
early route: H₀^{geo} from r_s — the propagation-register rate (geometry)
late route: H₀^{path} from the ladder — the energy-register rate: what the photon PAID per unit path, which in the corpus reading includes the friction toll z = a·d/c² accruing in the energy register only
closure demanded ACROSS ledgers, not within one symbol:
H₀^{path} / H₀^{geo} = the register ratio — a quantity to be RECONSTRUCTED from the two-speed split (c_part/c_vac), not fitted.
Measured ratio: 73.50/67.27 = 1.0926. Corpus dial value H₀ = 68.05 sits on the geometric route (1.28σ from Planck) — the dial reads the geometry ledger, and the corpus PREDICTS the ladder route must come out high because it books the toll.

| lost_channels |
A (address: which route/ledger — absorbed when the two scalars are identified) and Π (the partner arm: the energy-register toll the geometric route never books). Rank 1 in each route (both are simple rates); the seam is pure address. |

{ modulus: the 9.26% inter-route ratio, standing OPEN; phase: the acoustic phase carried by the early route, the path-accumulated phase by the late — not interchangeable; transition: the identification step H₀(early) ≡ H₀(late) is where the information dies. RESIDUAL: the register ratio 1.0926 is NOT yet reconstructed from the corpus two-speed split (c_part/c_vac = 1.0479 accounts for 52% of the log-gap, not all of it) — recorded honestly as the open reconstruction, per the correction rule no fitted constant is admitted in its place }
|
| correction_rule |
Correction = reconstruction from the recovery: restored arguments, seats, phases and arms in the equation itself. No raw appended constants; any finite term must be derived from the recovered channels, never fitted. |
| phase_retained |
True — the repair carries the route address, phase and both arms explicitly; no bare-magnitude identification across ledgers |
| falsifier |
Three staked tests, none run here: (1) if the tension is route-address information, it must be ACHROMATIC and monotone in path — no dependence on calibrator choice within a route (already supported: the review notes the discrepancy persists across instruments within each route); (2) quasar variability stretch = 1.000 at every z (friction reading) vs (1+z) (expansion reading) — the corpus’s standing discriminant; (3) the register ratio must be derivable from the two-speed split — if no reconstruction reaches 1.0926 without a fitted parameter, the MN reading of THIS seam fails (the correction rule cuts against us too, and we accept it). |
| standing |
SUPPORTED — the seam identification (two ledgers, one symbol) is demonstrated by the field’s own data; the register-ratio reconstruction is OPEN and is the certificate’s named debt |
