WHAT THIS RECORD ISDerrick’s proof that finite-energy smooth solutions on ℝ³ stay smooth for all time, organized so no hypothetical blow-up is ever admitted as a property of the solution.
THE CLASSICAL SEAM — WHERE THE PROBLEM STOOD
∂ₜu + (u·∇)u = −∇p + νΔu, ∇·u = 0 — possible finite-time blow-up of ‖ω‖∞; the amplitude read as a bare magnitude, the direction field discarded at exactly the hypothetical singular time
THE ROUTE — CLASSICAL PILLARS + THE CROSSING/BRIDGE
Five classical pillars: Leray energy inequality; Beale–Kato–Majda; Constantin–Fefferman direction criterion; Caffarelli–Kohn–Nirenberg partial regularity; Stokes parabolic smoothing. + Theorem 4.1 (Crossing): every hypothetical singularity is a reciprocal zero/pole crossing of the amplitude–direction pair (R, n̂) of ω = R·n̂ — the pair kept, the crossing priced, and the classical criteria close against it.
CORRECTION RULE — correction = reconstruction from the recovery: restored arguments, seats, phases and arms in the equation itself; no raw appended constants — any finite term must be derived from the recovered channels, never fitted.
